چکیده

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE:Tibial shaft fracture treatment with intermedullary nailing is very common these days. In the current study, our objective was to determine percentage of patients anterior knee pain following tibial interlocking nailing.
METHODOLOGY:Our research design a Descriptive cross-sectional study. The study duration approximately one year (03-3-2020 3-3-2021). conducted at orthopedics department CMH Muzafarrabad. A sample 125 participants calculated. All underwent nailing. We analyzed data using SPSS version 24. p-value less than 0.05 considered statistically significant for result authenticity.
RESULTS:In present were included.Mean age 42.4±8.6SD years.Among all patients, 82(65.6%) reported no while 43(34.4%) pain. Visual analogue scale showed mean scores 3.22±2.5SD and lysholm 80.74±3.28SD (p≤0.000 p≤0.000, respectively).
CONCLUSION:Tibial fractures are relatively high incidence intermedually after found in

Mini-open reduction and intramedullary interlocking nailing of fracture shaft of tibia without an image intensifier.

Intramedullary interlocking tibial nailing is usually performed using an image intensifier. But being expensive, it is not available in the most of the hospitals of resource-poor countries of the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of interlocking nailing without the use of an image intensifier. This is the retrospective study of 55 diaphyseal tibial fractures treated wit...

Medullary nailing for fracture of the shaft of the tibia.

The risks of operating on fractures-sepsis and delayed union-are nowhere greater than in the tibia because this bone is covered only by a thin layer of skin and subcutaneous tissue in a region of poor vascular reserve. Medullary nailing allows internal splinting without exposure of the fracture; it confers the benefits of accurate reconstruction, absolute immobilisation and unrestricted movemen...

Interlocking nailing of humeral shaft fractures.

: In this retrospective study 48 humeral shaft fractures in 48 patients were operated on using the Seidel interlocking nail. The length of follow-up ranged from 6 to 60 months (median, 26 months). The treatment of fractures was satisfactory with the Seidel nail, but we emphasize the importance of countersinking the tip of the nail into the humeral head to avoid impingement. In 5 of 12 patients ...

Antegrade interlocking nailing of humeral shaft fractures.

The results of 39 humeral shaft fractures (37 patients) treated with antegrade locked nailing using a Russell-Taylor nail were reviewed. There were 30 acute fractures, 6 fractures malaligned in a hanging cast or brace, and 3 pathological fractures. Patient age ranged from 26 to 80 years (average, 59.7 years) and average follow-up was 25.7 months (range, 6-48 months). Fracture union was achieved...
